My Summer Work Experience, Experience (Exta Post)

My Summer Work Experience, Experience

Week 1:

For my first week, I went Redmen TV which is an Uncensored LFC Television. Stats, Sketches, Analysis, Features, Interviews and Real Fan Opinions broadcasting after every Liverpool game. I was accepted to their program  for interns, to be shown how to work with premier pro editing program, camera work, lighting and any thing you'll need to be shown for a future in media. I was also to be on one of their shows, 'Uncensored live season build up show'. I had learn many things on my work experience, such as camera work, video editing, and other media tools and workshops.

Week 2:

My week two was kind of different to my first week, I went to LA Productions which is a British independent television and film production company as the're known for producing short films and also television dramas for the BBC. I was able to do many different jobs during this week such as, documentary making, which I helped a man with editing of a documentary of a man named Reg, they also made a movie about him but they need a documentary about it. I also did script reading for one of their biggest projects 'moving on' i was able to read one of their new episodes that would not be released until November, so I was able to see what it was like for script writing, and for just one 21 minute episodes, there were 4 different drafts so I was able to see the process they had to go through to make the script for an official episode. And finally i was able to see the editing for a different episode for the series that wasn't going to be released until November like the other episode. I was able to see the process they had to go through to actually make all the sounds and video be aliened together, also if they didn't get the sound for certain sounds such as, a coat being picket up or keys getting dropped on a table they would do it themselves in a special room they use for all overlays of sounds.

I learned many different things during these 2 week's. Week 1 I learned the tool's, and workshops side of film. While with week 2, I learned the process of writing, directing, and acting side of the film. So in conclusion I learned so much which would help me to go on and be a director myself in the future.

  1. Sounds fantastic Daniel, what an amazing opportunity. Can you provide any photographic evidence to support all of these exciting areas. If so pop them on this post too.
Double check your posts as you need to explain you were in Liverpool at these studios and maybe add their logos or stills from shows.
Do a video post or green screen piece showing TV images in background - we will discuss.
Write the words of numbers under ten - 1,2,3 etc becomes, one, two, three.
You need to check what you are writing and then adapt, change if need be.
